The issue that I have is only noticeable in terminals (I've tried it in urxvt and xterm). In urxvt, the display sometimes "lags". I can't reproduce it reliably, but happens every few seconds, especially when keys are pressed rapidly. The display lags "1 frame", eg. when I type "aa", only the first "a" is displayed, the second one only gets displayed when i press something else after that (let's say another "a"), so instead of rendering "a", then "aa", and then "aaa", only "a", then "aaa" gets rendered. A redraw can be also forced with mouse movements.
I'm not using compton, or any other compositor. The issue happens both in urxvt and xterm, I have a ~/.Xresources file, but the issue is still present if i remove everything from it (and run xrdb ~/.Xresources, then start a new terminal instance). I'm using a Dell XPS 13 (9360).

Please post your xorg log (essentially try to switch between modesetting and intel driver, but still post the log)
