After booting my Arch Linux, sometimes I'm having the following message appearing in my login prompt:
iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: BIOS contains WGDS but no WRDS
The message doesn't in the login prompt at every boot, but regularly enough to bother me.
I've read through some threads mentioning the same message, but in all of them people were at the same time complaining that WiFi doesn't work for them. WiFi at my laptop works totally fine. It's just the message I want to get rid of.
First I'd like to understand what it means.
Second, I'd like to fix it, so that it doesn't clutter my login prompt.
I'm on ThinkPad P52.
$ journalctl -k | grep iwlwifi

You would need Intel to issue an updated firmware or a kernel change in the iwlwifi module. You could suppress all kernel error messages but I would not recommend doing so.

@loqs Thanks for answer and the link.
So it's an issue with Intel firmware? Is there any way to stop that message from appearing in my login console?

@loqs Thank you. I think that's solved now. But I cannot add [SOLVED] to the title, because of character limit of the title .
