I can't get OBS Studio to launch as a regular user, it will only launch if ran with sudo.
If I run it as a regular user I get continuous stream of following messages and eventually a total crash of the system:
QSystemTrayIcon::setVisible: No Icon setWhen ran with sudo no errors and program works fine.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
EDIT: Normally I am on AwesomeWM and this happens on it. I do have KDE installed and tried there as well and it seems to work.
EDIT2: Back at AwesomeWM and the issue persists. Edited subject to reflect this.

Hello,
Looks a bit like my issue https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=253639
However being root does not solve the issue in my case.
Something is strange with OBS dependancies.
