Removing systemd message on boot.

Hello,
I have searched everywhere and cannot find a way to get rid of it. I am trying to get the 'Booting version 235-xxx' from coming up so I can have the system boot straight into X. I have added all the things to the kernel commandline to get a silent boot, but still have not have any success.
These are the related items from my kernel command line 'i915.fastboot=1 video=1920x1080@60 quiet loglevel=3' the rest are just partition info.
Anybody have any ideas. I am not interested in using plymouth, just have the vendor screen stay on until X starts.
