Window Manager Marco broken after upgrade

My window manager stopped working after my latest upgrade: windows could not be minimized or closed, windows were stuck to top border and could not be moved.  I rolled Marco back to the previous version which fixed most of the problems.  I still can't get an window icons to appear in the bottom panel like they used to.
