Hi!
I tried to search for a solution, but couldn't find any.
For some weeks now a handful of progrmas, like firefox, thunderbid and telegram-desktop have been acting weird. After using some (maybe memoyr-heavy?) programs, like retroarch or transmission, they are really laggish, slow. CPU usage doesn't rise. Rebooting helps.
I've tried i915.modeset=0 an setting Intel tear as is suggested here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=247946, but they won't help.
Any suggestions which way to start looking? I'm pretty newbie, but maybe it has to do with RAM/swap? I've got 8 gigs of RAM and a 4 gigs swap partition on Thinkpad X230 with i5 processor.

Sounds like issues with the newer mesa OpenGL driver, though If you are actively using xf86-video-intel you might want to try and remove that and configurations for it first. Otherwise see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … ver_(i965)
