The hidemenuheader patch didn't make it, no...
And if the docs on the openbox site aren't updated, you can always just skim through the changelog ;-)

i wish the hidemenuheader patch had made it in. would have saved me a few seconds of patching time.. hehe.
anyway i assume you mean the option for submenus to be centered instead of aligning from the top.
open your rc.xml file and add <middle>yes</middle> (or no if you dont want it) under <menu>
And then it happened... a door opened to a world... rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins, an electronic pulse is sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought... a board is found.
"This is it... this is where I belong..."

Those who are tired of patching and compiling the source on their own are free to use the openbox-svn package from my repo It has the hidemenuheader-, syscrash's rgba-, rezza's client_padding- and the gtkcolors-patch applied. It also features some other minor changes like softer bevel's or a mousecursor change on moving windows.

gtk-colors allows you to grab colors from a gtk theme
rezza's client padding allows you to have 3 sides padded instead of the usual 4
hidemenuheader hides the menu header
syscrash's fixes openbox showing black backgrounds to windows using the new 'rgba' or 'argb' visual

Speaking of menus... How do I set up rc.xml so that the middle-click menu automatically opens the first desktop submenu when it pops up? IIRC that was the default behavior in 3.2...
