[SOLVED] (well enough anyway) - Trouble with cset (cpuset)

I'd like to use cset to reserve CPU cores for a VM. However, the shield command fails with err 22 every time. An Ubuntu user has hit the same issue as me and posted more detail of the error here: https://github.com/lpechacek/cpuset/issues/34. It looks like this is common, and I've seen (and tried) many patches to no avail. Has anyone else gotten cpuset to work? I've updated everything, and I'm using the cpuset AUR package which appears to install HEAD of master from the GitHub repository.

Re: [SOLVED] (well enough anyway) - Trouble with cset (cpuset)

I made a stupid mistake - the patches I applied were intended for a different revision of the source code. I forked the repository, updated the AUR package, and things are working for me. The "fix" is a bit of a hack, but if anyone is stuck like I was, you can clone this as you would clone the AUR package, and it should work for isolation in QEMU.
