Xerox Printer filter error [SOLVED]

I have a WorkCentre-3045 that I used to run using the 32 bit drivers.
Recently I go the update package from Xerox to run 64 bits and I installed as per the directions I got from online.
The printer installed with no complaints but I get an error every time I print with: "failed filter error".
I enabled debug mode in the cups config file and it gives me a _very_detailed_ description of events but I do not understand it because it seems to say that the pid exited OK but later it says it failed. (??) Bits me.

I've marked the lines in question with ">>"  to make it easier to spot. The process starts OK but you will see a couple of lines below it says the file is not found? If the filter is found and starts it cannot be missing two lines later.
Or am I reading this wrong?

After re-reading the message over a few times I wonder if the message means that the file _execv_ is not found, which would make more sense.
What package has the file execv?

That might be it?

shows "Recommended Driver: foo2hbpl2" with a link, but I see foo2zjs-nightly in AUR has support for foo2hbpl: have you installed and tried that?

Hi paulkerry,

Nope. I have not tried it because I downloaded the drivers provided by Xerox for the specific model I have with 64 bit drivers support.
I'm also beginning to question if the issue is not the filter, which I'm almost 100% positive is not, but that the file execv is not found.
When I execute execv the system returns "command not found" and that may be an issue here... I think

If everything else fails I'll give it a try.

"execv" is an internal cups command and not a system command.

Your log shows the "execv failed:" line and tells you why it failed on the next line, which is that "/usr/lib/cups/filter/xrhr4ap" is not found.
