My w3m loads certain webpages really slowly, taking around 1-5 minutes to load.
It will hang on "Opening socket..." as seen in this image.
At first I thought it doesn't load at all but it's just really slow.
I noticed this first when I tried to check the Archlinux news with
w3m https://archlinux.org/news/The same hang happens when trying to open Google.com, Archlinux.org and i3wm.org to name a few.
Two webpages that I've tried and seem to load fine so far currently are the homepage of 4chan and w3m.sourceforge.net.

Does anyone have a clue where should I start looking for the answer to this?
EDIT: I ran a system update on my laptop and the same problem seems to now be present on it.
I first noticed this problem on my desktop computer.

I rebooted my router and the problem has disappeared from both of my computers.
I feel a bit dumb for forgetting to try something as simple as that.

Apparently restarting the router fixes it for the duration that the computer is on.
When I come back the next day I need to restart it again if I want to load pages with w3m normally.
I've not figured out the cause of this but seems like loading pages with
w3m -4 <url> works fine in the meantime.
Giving it the
w3m -6 <url> ends up loading for really long time, so the problem has to do something with IPv6.
I deleted the cookies and history file of w3m and that had no impact as I thought, but it was worth the shot.
I'll probably stop digging around unless if I face more problems, hopefully this information helps those a bit who might have the same problem in the future.
