Certain pages in Firefox have icons that don't render but show their textual description instead. However in Google Chrome these icons render just fine.
I am not sure how to troubleshoot this.
Here is a screenshot of the Android Studio documentation page that has this issue: https://i.imgur.com/KYLEpVO.png

Please don't embed huge images directly, make a thumbnail or a link in the future.
Works fine here. These particular fonts are loaded in from the web in this particular case for me. Do you run some blocking addon like NoScript Ublock Adblock or so? Can you access: https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/materialico … DsNc.woff2 ? Did you correctly handle this news announcment?

@V1del,
Thanks for the reply and for the note about large images. I'll keep that in mind going forward.
I did follow that upgrade properly. I am fully up to date and rebooted. I can access that file without issue in Firefox. However the original issue still persists.
Any further thoughts on what I might try? It is certainly super annoying and almost enough to force me back to Google Chrome.
Edit: I forgot to address your point about ad blockers. I do have ublock origin installed and a few other privacy plugins but this persists even when all of those plugins are disabled and I do a full refresh of the page with cache disabled.

Some addons change settings at startup of firefox, disabling them doesn't undo those changes.
Have you tried "Restart with addons disabled" aka 'safe mode' ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
