How to export and build an earlier linux kernel version with asp?

Is it possible to do a "asp export linux" in order to get an earlier version of the arch kernel and its PKGBUILD?
I need to build a 5.5.9 custom kernel, with only certain modules enabled, how can I do that?
Thanks.

Read the wiki, the asp page tells you what to do...

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Didn't find an asp arch wiki, but there was corresponding info on the Arch Build System wiki. I managed to checkout and build my kernel with subversion. Yet couldn't do it with git as there is only a link to the general Arch git wiki.
What would be the steps for finding the right release number (as with svn) and checking out the sources using git?
Thanks!

After you have done 'asp checkout linux' , cd into the linux folder.
You now are inside a git repository that holds all changes since the linux package was created in 2011 .
All normal git commands work.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

"Furthermore, you can use all other git commands to checkout an older version of the package or to track custom changes. For more information on git usage, see the git page."

Are you just saying you don't know how to use git?

This information is very much available on the linked wiki page which you were instructed to use. Do you want us to read the wiki on your behalf, visit your house, and type in the commands for you? What level of utter handholding do you want? The information is *right there* at:
