I use the qt applications tipp10 and kolourpaint sometimes. Every few minutes the applications freezes for some seconds. Even the mouse cursor freezes. I wanted to check if the screen is frozen too with youtube running and noticed i have no freezes anymore. Vlc player works too.
The hardware is a Matebook X with a intel core i5-7200, 8gb ram.

Maybe the hardware goes in some sleep mode except when a video is running. I haven't messed with powertop or anything. Charging or battery state doesn't matter.

if xf86-video-intel is installed, try removing it and potential configs using it.

Thanks. TearFree option is sufficient..
Edit: It is not sufficient. Removing the package solves the problem. I haven't found a option that suffice yet. I can live with the performance without the package.
Edit 2: disable vsynch + TearFree solved it.
