Current background from nitrogen for use in aqua-lightdm-webkit-theme

I am using nitrogen for setting backgrounds, the lightdm-webkit2-greeter with the aqua-lightdm-webkit-theme (https://github.com/paysonwallach/aqua-l … bkit-theme) for login.
On the theme page it says: "By default, the theme looks for its background image at /usr/share/backgrounds/current, which can simply be a symlink to the user's current background."

Question now is: How can achieve this? How can I find out the current wallpaper and set the "current" file to be (a link) to my current wallpaper?

P.S.: Are posts like this meant to be posted in this forum (Newbie Corner) or in any other forum?

Newbie Corner is fine, if you don't know where to specifically put it.

I'm uncertain about your question, the quoted paragraph seems pretty clear to me. Look at whatever file is at /usr/share/backgrounds/current and make that a symlink to whatever image you currently have as a background.

Those are all file system basics.
