hibernate + powersave + kpowersave feedback ?

hello there,
i'd like to give hibernate + kpowersave a shot. but i noticed powersave is only in unstable. this worries me a bit, i don't like those "testing" and "unstable" words...
i wonder if any of you already tried such a combination, and whether it ended up with success, problems, or whatever.

any feedback of yours is appreciated,

Powersave works great for me, and my laptop is very picky about suspending (doesn't work in Ubuntu).  Not had any luck with compiling kpowersave though.
