Unable to cast
I've been having many issues with casting from my install and seeing as I can't go anywhere I'd like to try to sort it.
I have avahi installed as per wiki page

When I run VLC it sit's there scanning and never shows a renderer, Chromium and Brave browsers both state "Source not Supported" yet booting to windows and using the ever simple right click "Cast to .." item just works as does VLC and browsers that can cast.
I want to ditch windows as I prefer Linux but 3 games and this keep me from deleting that partition.
What am I missing?
What have I done wrong?
I notice in the talk part of the Avahi article

it mentions using systemd-resolve instead of mdns/avahi but I cant find a setup guide for that so I'm kinda confused as to what it is I actually need to do to get casting to work.
I've tried a swath of other applications but for the life of me can't get them to work.
