iDevice wont show up while it is in DFU

Hello Everybody,
Im quite new to Arch linux and I don't have much experience with it. I'm currently trying to install Checkra1n onto my iPhone 8+, but whenever I put it in DFU, my laptop running arch linux, won't recognize it. Is this some kind of driver issue or something like that? I haven't found anything googling / searching the wiki. Thanks for answers in advance
