Audio stutters or Skips randomly in vlc using s/pdif

Hi,Im using arch kernel  5.6.8.  Audio in vlc (pcm,DD,DTS) stutters or skips randomly.I have tried output module as  automatic,Pulseaudio and alsa. WIth Alsa i have also tried selecting the device which is ALC 1220.
vlc version is 3.0.10 and build date is 29 April. My system is totally updated. Under audio codecs i see vorbis,A/52,DCA,Speex.I have disabled sampling.
Is this a problem with vlc or missing codecs?  I really need to fix this, its heartbreaking if i cant watch the movies on Arch. pls,pls help me.If there is any other player it would also do as long as it can output via s/pdif the raw audio signal and support H265 encoding.

It has also to do with the video.H264 encodd video is what im playing.Ican see the video codec in vlc.
thanks a ton.
