How to create memtest86-efi option when using bootctl?

Solved:
make entry with this

efi   /EFI/memtest86/memtestx64.efi

Why do you think it is a linux kernel?

Looking at the installer that ships with the AUR package, you should use "efi": https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/ … 86-efi#n78

You have /usr/bin/memtest86-efi on your ESP? Seems extremely unlikely.

Seems like there was a tool from memtest that easily helped to make a  option

efi   /EFI/memtest86/memtestx64.efi
