I recently build a new PC and of course installed Arch again. It had been a long time. I was sad to see the beginner guide gone, but I understand why.
Anyway, I was using pcmanfm on my old build but decided to use thunar on this one because it looks better IMO.
I've been organizing my music collection which is housed on a CentOS8 server via NFSv4 accessed with autofs, using thunar and picard
Sometimes I come back to my PC after a while and Thunar is still displayed but completely unresponsive.
I can kill it via terminal, and if I relaunch it there is a long delay before the window appears (30 seconds), and when it finally does appear, it's very slow for a while. If I close it and relaunch it, the same thing happens (30second delay until window appears, very slow).
A reboot fixes it for a while but the problem always comes back.
How do I start to troubleshoot this?
