In case people are getting issues and wondering why, I believe the mesa-git repo needs a rebuild against latest libffi, a simple symlink works for now but is not clean.

Thanks for the quick upgrade, that works.

Some news from the mesa_git repo:
- PKGBUILDs are hosted on gitlab: https://gitlab.com/lordheavy/mesa-git
- mesa-aco packages are back

Hello, there is a user in the [mesa-aco-git comments](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mesa-aco-git/#news) stating that users should use mesa-git with patch installed. There are no instructions on how to install the patch? Does anybody here know how?
I kept mesa-aco-git for the sake of simplicity and I don't have to configure anything. It just works.

patches are usually installed in prepare() function .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Hello,
can anyone share a backup of lordheavy's repo, say from a week ago? Current packages don't work, and I only have 1 previous versions in cache from 6th and they also have issues so I'd like to go back a little further. I stupidly emptied my cache earlier this week
Thanks!

Are you using AMD GFX8 card?, because recent mesa-git broke opengl on my AMD RX 580 until fixed by this commit, ac/surface: fix broken pitch override on gfx8
lordheavy's mesa-git may need to be rebuild again to include the fix.

Yup a 580 as well, thank you!

Well actually it fixed my issue on previous build, of not being able to boot, but I still get screen corruption like with the build from the 6th.
I originally thought it was a kernel issue, but after rolling back to 5.6.8 and still having it, I guessed it was from Mesa, though not sure since I can't rollback

In Chrome and Konsole it only seems to happen in the top left corner, not sure what that means.

Not sure if it was on purpose, but you renamed vulkan-mesa-layer-git to vulkan-mesa-layers-git but not for 32b so the upgrade is currently impossible.

Doh!, it will be fixed in the next release.
Sorry!

Thank you!

@lordheavy Oh not related, and not necessarily an issue either just curious, how come there's been no recent llvm-git builds, is anything broken there?

Building llvm everyday, i think, is mostly useless, otherwise i try to update it regularly (once per week at least).

Oh I see, though I think between today's and the last build it was a bit closer to 2 weeks than one, which got me wondering.
Thanks for adding the 32b layers!

Both mesa-aco-git and lib32-mesa-aco-git contain the file /usr/bin/mesa-overlay-control.py and as such cannot be installed next to each other.

(sorry)
