[SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

Old tittle of post changed since new things came to light (old : Need guiding on PulseAudio + PulseEffects and ?Gnome? )

Hello, this first post on this topic wont be "precise" on the point since I dont know whats going on or what is needed to fix the problem, please ask whatever you need :

I have a problem with my Input(microphone) and output(headphones) mixing together, everything i hear my microphone pics up (with no audio diffrence) and when i try to go to gnome settings while pulse effects is open i hear eveyrthing my microhpone picks up while the pitch is slowly going up

untill now i have tried to remove all of ALSA (alsa-utils and alsa-lib) and pulseaudio files with pacman -Rdd and reinstalled them again, removed LSP plugins and tried various options through the graphical menu

One more thing to note after uninstalling pulseaudio and pulseeffects i tried running alsa by alone but no sound device was detected at all(at least from gnome menu)and no output appearing anywhere with or without headphones(ie on speakers)

Im sorry that I cannot be any more precise or havent provided any files(yet) since I have no idea about audio or dont know where needed files are

Thank you in advance for any tip or explanation provided

Edit: While pulseaudio and Gnome Settings --> Sound is open, if any oudio file is playing(youtube, games etc etc) mic sound will go/output  to headphones while settings are off/reset pulseeffects or have it closed or uninstalled complitelly computer output sound will go to mic (ie everyone is voice chat will hear what i do ,also lowering either mic sound all the way down or output sound all the way down will stop this effect)

Edit 2:Files from /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/  Didnt know how to upload files on this forum so i uploaded them to my  GDrive

Edit 3: Look second post on topic

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

Update: I isolated each and every file on the paths folder and it turns out (the way i understand it)that pulseaudio combines my input output jack into one,i found a few posts on the internet about the same think but i cannot figure it out anyone got the same problem?or a solution?

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

How are they connected? Distinct jacks for mic and headphones? What's your outputs for

aplay -lL
amixer -c0 #Replace the 0 with whatever's the correct card index from aplay -l
pacmd list-cards
pacmd list-sinks
pacmd list-sink-inputs
pacmd list-sources
pacmd list-source-outputs

during active playback/recording, post these wrapped in [ code ] [ /code ] tags

Sorry for the late reply I really thought this tread had died since i didnt get any emails,my apologies

one more thing to note, since original post i reinstalled pulseaudio after deleting with -Rdd ,one thing that might be relevant is that sound wont play untill i change my microphone's volume(huh...)(A solution similar to that has caught my eye in the wiki just not applied yet, if relavent )

I pastebined all the outputs

Famixerc0  FaplaylL  Flc  Fls  Flsi  Flso
every command requested printed ,links shorted based on requested ie amixer -c0 first pacmd list-source-outputs last

https://pastebin.com/NjTjhBLd
https://pastebin.com/AVkf9DZA
https://pastebin.com/KeTp8pyg
https://pastebin.com/32YUhV6y

all while playing music from firefox/youtube

sidenote:
*finally* pulseeffects started working somewhat,if i launch gnome settings and go to sounds though the result  is (the best i can describe it)a clash of the input and output combining and multiplying gradually in milliseconds into a deafening sound, either killing or reseting pulseaudio from within the application stops that, only if gnome settings/sound settings are closed , all this dosent exclude the fact that the combonation of sounds happens with or without pulseeffects( -Rns the program) even after reinstalling pulseaudio( -Rns then -S )

Edit:
Did the test again while me and friends where making unbearable noise over discord both through my mic and their mic so all devices are active(just in case i dont know exacly how those things work)

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

If you switch the discord stream, in e.g. pavucontrol to go to your actual mic instead of pulseeffect, does it work? I'd generally suggest you try fixing this logically first without using pulseeffects. If I'm reading that right you are currently pushing the pulseffects mic monitor out to discord and that one is in turn a direct feed of whatever you are feeding the apps sink, ergo everything you hear.

For pulseffects you need to change it so that the mic monitor listens to your physical device and doesn't go into a feedback loop with itself.

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

On pavucontrol what i have noticed: Configuration :Analog stereo Duplex/Input/Output those 3 are the only options available,Input and output work as expected but duplex records both input and output and push it to Input and all other devices unavailable and unplugged(HDMI),on all other tabs there are normal devices that you wourld expect(im showing all devices on Show selector down right for each and every tab,I also tried to unlock input of my mic and mute either the front left or front right volute bar but no change

The above paragraph is with pulseeffects uninstalled

I'v uploaded 3 short  videos on Vimeo but i am going to explain it in text as well anyway:

In discord i use default output(build in analog stereo) while there is no secondary option for mic ,changing to pulseeffects (apps) gives me no output but pulseeffects(mic)does(both options exist on output category, again i only have access to the default mic option) nothing changes with or without pulseeefects (at least apparently)

Password  for videos being 255479 (thread number)

Mic/ON | With Headset Mic on(through headset button)

Mic/OFF | With Headset Mic off(through headset button)(just in case if sound was too loud and was transmitted to mic like that)

Hard Reset | Removed pulseeffects with -Rns and pulseaudio with -Rnsdd(dont know it it makes a difference did it cuz gnome settings daemon didnt let me remove it) then reinstalled it normally ( -S )

Everything bellow this line is most likely irrelevant

Edit 1: noticed after reinstalling pulseffects even when uninstalled with -Rns the profiles are kept,if relavent

PS:Noticed the hard breathing now,Im sorry; its irritating.

Other things I consider totally irrelevant but if not are left here:

Guide followed Microphone distorted due to automatic adjustment fix(removed the affected files before reinstalling pulseeffects for this post, just left it here in case they affect and change other files i dont know about in other folders)
Static noise in microphone recording(Checked again after reinstall sample rate got reset, changed it again after recording third video so its not affected)

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

Update:

Turns out ALSA is to blame by itself, im looking for a way to re-attach/re-assamble ALSA with jack(port) as USB audio devices dont have that problem and the frequent "Oh no it happens now it dosent happen problem",for anyone with in a similar situation I will post an update again in a few days

,also changing title of thread

also i should issue my apologies to the person that was trying to figure out my problem as of before,I don't know if i installed something incorectlly or its a problem with poor support for my particular device for this to happen

Re: [SOLVED]ALSA/PulseAudio Jack problem

The solution was an unexpected one,i changed the cable that connects my female jack port to the motherboard ,witch was a particular headache to find out since 4 out of 6 headphones that i tested out worked fine but 2 of them combined sound whenever they felt like it,probably an interference or something
so in the end it wasn't a software issue only appeared to be hmm
