having trouble after updating firware after reinstalling fwupd

Hi all,

It's been around half a year since I succeeded in installing Arch and used it in my daily study and work! Sometimes, issues came up and I solved it. Everything works smoothly until now.

BTW, I had windows installed in the first place and EFI already exists.

The story began when I was trying to set up fingerprint on my laptop. To do that, I have to install the latest fwupd, so I remove the community fwupd and install the fwupd-git from aur. After following the simple steps described in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fwupd, I reboot and the firmware is not updated. The weirdest thing is that

I'm unsure if I misread but you don't seem to have specified the actual problem you are having? What is the issue? Depending on your firmware it could be normal that NVRAM entries are wiped on update, so you may have to reinstall your bootloaders. But that's only an inference from the outputs it sin't clear to me what your issue is.

Yes, my question is why firmware info doesn't pop up in the output of bootctl. The final goal is to get the firmware updated. Could you please direct me to the documentation saying that the firmware could be wiped? Also, I use rEFInd as boot manager and I believe I don't use any boot loader.
