Evince only opens some PDFs after putting the laptop into sleep

Hello

I m running Arch (latest) with Gnome on a ThinkPad T450s (Intel graphics) and I have a dockingstation with WUXGA monitor. Since 2-3 month I' ve had the problem that Evince does not open most of the .pdf files anymore. Instead the Evince icon appears when switching between the running programs but I get no pdf. The pdf appears after putting the laptop to sleep or if I connect/disconnect an external display (Dockingstation). Even when starting and running only the laptop with no peripherals the problem is there.

Do you know how to fix it? Is it a bug in Evince (3.36.1-2)?

Thank you

Open it from a terminal and see if it prints an error.
