JACK not bridging to PulseAudio

I had JACK bridging setup and working just fine along side PulseAudio, however for some reason it  just randomly broke and it wont work again. Whenever I open Cadence and start JACK it says that i was successfully started however for some reason it doesn't actually bridge to PulseAudio. I looked at the bottom right corner under the PulseAudio tab and it says "PulseAudio is started but not bridged", pressing start in that tab to bridge to PulseAudio doesn't work either, the button just doesn't do anything. Any idea what's going on here? Last thing I remember doing before it stopped working is installing alsa-utils and alsa-plugins. I've rebooted my computer multiple times, restarted Cadence, restarted PulseAudio, logged in and out but nothing is happening.

I have an Asus Z170-E and I'm using its builtin audio if that matters.

welp for some reason its bridging now, but another issues emerged. None of the audio is actually going through, I have all my programs bridged and using the JACK sink but no audio comes through at all. Also JACK starts at the wrong sampling rate for some reason? I have it configured to use 48000 but it starts using 32000, I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

make sure jack is configured to play to the correct device. Maybe post

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
aplay -l

Under Cadence my driver/interface is set to use hw:0 in duplex mode, my input and output devices are set to None. These are all the same settings as I had before when it used to work.

You  aren't using jack to any capacity in that output. Maybe also some cadence/jack output logs (i don't really use jack so don't know if that would be sufficient).
