[SOLVED] bluetooth headphones does not work with Zoom

For whatever reason, the I can't have the zoom application connect to my bluetooth headphones. I can hear audio through my bluetooth headphones from every other application. I opened up pavucontroller and tried to change the playback output of the zoom engine from Built-in Audio Analog Stereo to E7 (my bluetooth headphones). But the change doesn't happen. I can change the playback of other applications this way. What is wrong with my setup? How can I connect zoom audio to my headphones.

Below is a screenshot of me trying to change the output settings through pavucontrol.

I am using gnome on Wayland.

Re: [SOLVED] bluetooth headphones does not work with Zoom

I should also mention that these problems started when I switched from KDE to Gnome. I uninstalled KDE, so I don't know if the problems would still be in KDE.

Thank you for any help, hints, or suggestions.

trying to be smart for no reason. A cursory googler shows that they intend you to set this within zooms settings itself.

Re: [SOLVED] bluetooth headphones does not work with Zoom

Ok. I still didn't find this information in a google search. But I did figure out how to change the audio settings in Zoom. This worked out. Thank you!
