Assuming the 340xx driver still works with the present Xorg versions, nvidia-xconfig *cannot* create a functional config for an optimus setup.

i made sure that i remove xorg.conf, idk if that shows in logfile.
but let's put this problem aside and if there is anything that i can do to cleanup everything and start from scratch, without installing the whole system again?
