smtp for router[SLOVED]

its too bad the spamers killed all the free smtp servers online sad

im in need of one to send my router alats to and back to me but my isp wanna use ssl for there smtp server and google too

if some one can help me li'l be happy smile
im thinking on setting up my own too

If you want to use gmail (or your isp's) smtp as a mailhub you can install ssmtp and follow this guide (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Gmail_and_sSMTP) for the configuration. This setup saves you the hassle of running a full-blown smtp server on your router.
