Locale.conf error and no terminal to fix it

I was trying to add support for another language using the locale and i messed something up. Now i cannot open terminal to fix it and i am trying to use a live enviornment and chroot to fix it but i keep getting errors. I need some help.

When i run the locale command i get:

Locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: no such file or directory
Same with LC_MESSAGES and LC_ALL

I assume this is why i cant open terminal and i need some help.

I just tried to rerun locale-gen and i got an error saying cannot open locale definition file 'en_GB' that isnt uncommented in my .gen file

Thanks
