Hello, this is my first post on the forum. I switched from Windows 3 weeks ago, installed Arch, tweaked many a config files since. I've learned a lot on the way and frankly I really enjoy what I have now.
My question is fairly simple. What files does xset modify, in particular when changing the auto repeat delay? I know I could append an xset command in my xinitrc to make the change permanent, but is there a better solution? The Arch wiki doesn't seem to have a dedicated page for xset. What should one do to get more information in this situation?

man xsetOffline
xset, as far as I know, just sets the options in X at runtime, and does not save to any files.

Simple question, simple answer. I get your point in a way.
