Partially no Sound with sof-hda-dsp and Realtek ACL295 on Acer TM614

Hello,

I did a fresh install of arch linux on a Aver TravelMate P614-51T-G2 and I have problems with the sound.
I use Plasma as Desktop Environment.

At the beginning there was no device shown in audio settings at all.
I have followed some advises on the internet and installed sof-firmware. No, I have a device called sof-hda-dsp and when plugging headphones I have sound.

However, nether do the intern speakers wor, nor is a HDMI shown when a cable is plugged in. Additionally the microphone does not work.

Here is the information I have so far:

  • intel SST microphone

  • Realtek ACL295 audio card

  • no modifications to any configuration files or module load options

  • kernel: 5.7.2-arch1-1

  • sof-firmware: 1.5.1-1

  • pulseaudio: 13.0-3

Re: Partially no Sound with sof-hda-dsp and Realtek ACL295 on Acer TM614

Ok, so, after some tries I was able to get the microphone to work with the following modification

# /etc/pulse/default.pa

load-module module-alsa-source device=hw:0,6 channels=4

However, the speakers still do not work also the audio signal is shown in pavcontrol and I can hear it when plugging in the headphones.
