Errors starting XDvi

I am getting this error when I run XDvi in the console:

Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset
Error: XsraSelFile: can't get font 9x15

As I understand, there is a missing font it can't render so I tried installing xorg-fonts-misc and xorg-xlsfonts, recommendations from internet searches, but still the program won't run.
Any lead to where I can look for a solution?
