[SOLVED] Kernel 5.3.7 breaks startx, reboot/poweroff, network

Hi,

45 min ago, I ran

$ sudo pacman -Syu

and got updates for

ca-certificates-mozilla
fontconfig
libinput
libmagick6
linux (5.7.2.arch1-1 -> 5.2.7.3.arch.1-1)
nss
rust
ttf-dejavu

After reboot

$ date

shows random wrong date,

$ startx

fails with

modset(0): drmSetMaster failed: Permission denied

and neither WLAN nor LAN connection work.

$ reboot
$poweroff

only work with sudo now.

Machine is ThinkPad A485 (AMD Ryzen 2500U).

How can I recover from here?

execute

pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-5.7.2.arch1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

then reboot.
Fix already pushed to mirror just wait for 5.7.4 to hit your mirror.

Thank you, that worked. I didn't know pacman caches old packages, how lucky. Will do some more reading on the Wiki.
