Recently I've noticed that my laptop's fan is almost always working, even if the CPU load is very low. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the recent update to
intel-ucode
or if something else has triggered it.

Also, I've figured out that there's a BIOS update for my laptop, but since I don't have windows installed, I haven't been able to update it; if that's necessary, I think I can install windows on one of my partitions.
