Razer Stealth blade 2019 - Screen Flickering ;

Hello guys.. Long time since I posted, a few things before this post.

Thanks everyone for their hard work at arch and the good wikis

Anyways lets get to it:

Current setup is arch linux with i3-wm and gnome

I've been dealing with some weird symptoms, I barely post and I tried googling a lot but no fix has worked.

Symptoms:

- Laptop screens dims a little bit then freezes, the computer still works, to fix what I do is connect an USBC external monitor and then turn off and turn on main laptop screen, the laptop then flickers for a bit then goes back to normal.

Any help is appreciated. My grub commands: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=4 button.lid_init_state=open"

Current trying to use evdi-git from aur;

Edit: Ive discovered that when gnome tries to dim my screen, it looks roughly the same as when it freezes the screen.. if i move hte mouse then it gets back on;
