[solved] curiosity about arch package maintainers

This is just my curiosity: does Arch Linux use some sort of automated build server, where the developers upload sources for the packages to be built, or do they upload directly a compiled binary to the mirrors?

Packages are built in a clean chroot: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/De … ean_chroot

AFAIK, devs can build on their own machine, or they can use a central build server: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/De … GBUILD.com
