Laptop keeps charging and discharging the battery

Hello, I have a MSI Modern 14 A10M and the battery is deteriorating because the laptop let it discharge until 95% and then charge it all (this can go on forever)

I've tried removing TLP and powertop but didn't help.

I've given you as much details I know but I can send you any data that can help finding a solution

From what I've heard, keeping the battery constantly at 100% and trickle-charging it hurts it way more than keeping it going between 95% and 100%.

Also, I've seen MSI laptops that do this normally from the factory, so it might be completely normal and controlled by the firmware/charging IC/whatever.

You are right but modern laptops have a mechanism to charge the battery and then power the device only with AC charger (the battery is being ignored).
In fact, after removing tlp, I discovered that after 95% (more or less) battery isn't charged anymore and the led turns off

Do you have /sys/class/power_supply/BAT?/charge_{start,stop}_threshold?
