Before I make this post, I already tried both options in this wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Le … on_(Gen_7).
Based on the wiki, the first option which suggests to install sof-firmware and using pulseaudio-git doesn't make any changes. For the second option, the audio output can be used, the speaker works fine. The only problem are the 2 rear speakers sounds really tiny and the internal microphone (audio input) is still missing. I also found this post: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=249900 which still doesn't improve anything. Installing sof-firmware doesn't make the sof card to appear in alsamixer.
Below are the current conditions:
- Device: X1 Carbon 7th Gen
- Audio device: Intel Corporation Cannon Point-LP High Definition Audio Controller
- Speaker is working (it shows "HDA Intel PCH")
- Internal Microphone is missing from the applet and pavucontrol
- No blacklisted modules but I set "options snd slots=snd_soc_skl_hda_dsp" into "/etc/modprobe.d/sof.conf"
- alsa-ucm-conf is also already installed
Below are the state of my packages (it is a fresh install on a new device):

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Did something change but hasn't reflected on the wiki?
P.S. Updating current condition and adding kernel option

Solution:
Combination of linux-mainline, sof-firmware, blacklisting fallback driver, and some changes in /etc/pulse/default.pa to statically set alsa-sink and alsa-source

Is there anything that I should concern about?
Offline
Just an update, last night I try to install linux-mainline since someone has successfully got his/her audio working by doing that. The result is the audio is indeed working with just the combination of linux-mainline, sof-firmware, blacklisting fallback driver, and some changes in /etc/pulse/default.pa. alsamixer is also showing the sof-hda-dsp card.
Weird thing is, since linux-mainline somehow breaks google chrome, I go back to the standard kernel and the audio is still there. I think some files got created and the other kernels somehow recognize it. I will try to check whether this condition is persistent or not for now before mark this thread as solved.
Offline
It looks like everything is working as expected. So, I guess the problem is solved.
