Setup absolute volume with Bluetooth audio device

I've been looking for a way to enable absolute volume on linux without much success, In case it's not clear what I mean, I'm referring to having  the computer and headset share the same volume level (like on Android devices). Is there any way to achieve this?

At the moment, each device has a separate volume level. That is, when I change the volume with the controls on the headset, only the headset volume increases, while the volume level displayed on my desktop remains the same. Same thing applies the other way around.

Re: Setup absolute volume with Bluetooth audio device

To my knowledge, bluetooth absolute volume is not yet implemented on Linux.
It exists on Android, MS Windows and MacOS.
