[SOLVED] Breeze window decoration broken: Plastik shows instead

I recently reinstalled Arch and I'm in the process of rebuilding my setup. I use the KDE-Story theme, with some tweaks, including not using any of the theme's window decoration themes and instead using the regular Breeze theme. BTW I download the theme via KDE's built in addon manager.

While I was working on some unreleated things the system freezed and rebooted, and when I was back in my session the window decoration now uses the Plastik theme, but in the settings it is stated that Breeze is the current theme, even displaying the correct preview.. I tried applying a different theme and reapplying breeze, doing an upgrade, and even reinstalling the full plasma and kde-applications group. Still nothing.

It is worthwile nothing that in my previus Arch install I had the same issue (I can't recall what caused it back then, but I had the exact same problem: Breeze looks like Plastik)

SOLUTION: remove the look-and-feel theme folder (~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/KDE-Story). Yo might not get the option in global themes, but you can still apply the individual components.

Did you try resetting all of the configurations of plasma?
I'd recommend deleting or temporarily moving all plasma/kde related folders that contain configuration files top a different folder.
~/.local/plasma*
~/.local/share/plasma*
~/.local/share/kde*
~/.config/kde*
and so forth...

I did what you said, and it turns out if I remove the look and feel installation of the theme (~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/KDE-Story) it works. I am going to do some more tests but I think a bug report is coming.
