virt-manager: NAT no dhcp/network access

As I don't have the time to write this up properly for the Wiki, I just want to keep this info for anyone struggling with NAT and virt-manager.

It seems that using plain nftables without proper configuration prevents DHCP to work on virt-manager guest using NAT.
As a solution one can install firewalld (and reboot). After that, NAT just works.

Hope this helps anyone out who might not be able to figure out why virt-manager network just doesn't work without any error messages.

Re: virt-manager: NAT no dhcp/network access

technically, , while this is correct there are alternatives.

ebtables is one,  you need to read about and understand the software requirements of what your trying to do.

Read about libvirt here
