locale -a problem.

I using Arch to first time, I can see the glxgears rotating well and listen many music at once...

BUT...
If I write locale -a in a termilal I read:
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
C
POSIX

It is not urgent, but I'll need Japanese support so I am pretty worried. How can I fix the problem? Thanks.

Re: locale -a problem.

You have to generate your preferred locales (not included by default in the current glibc package), and set your /etc/profile accordingly. It's covered in the wiki:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Configuring_locales
