Building Pamac Failed

Hi, So i have installed Arch with Gnome, and i tried installing pamac. I tried both using yay as well as building the package from the AUR. But everytime i try to build the package, I keep getting a build failed error. Can someone please help me with this issue? I 'm also including the logs of the output for this .

Re: Building Pamac Failed

  • Have you tried the other one?

  • Is your system up-to-date?

  • Is this output from the manual build? Looks like an AUR helper to me.

  • actual errors in the ouput you posted:

    • Program pacman-mirrors found: NO (probably not relevant)

    • valac ... error: The name 'try_parse' does not exist in the context of 'uint'

Have you tried searching for these errors?

PS: pamac's project page says it's for manjaro (and thus implicitly NOT for ArchLinux?). Possibly relevant?
