Re: WIFI not working

Start with Wireless#Check_the_driver_status.  Also what commands did you use to produce the outputs you posted?  Please post commands and their outputs in code tags.

Re: WIFI not working

Previously I used Brunch ChromeOS, and had wifi working. So I am certain that the drivers/firmware exist for Linux.

It seems like the drivers are already included in the Linux kernel (https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/use … rs/rtl819x), same goes for the Bluetooth drivers which arent currently working aswell.

Exactly.
Driver != firmware.
With that in mind, please re-read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … r/firmware

Re: WIFI not working

pacman -Qo /usr/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8723befw_36.bin
/usr/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8723befw_36.bin is owned by linux-firmware 20200721.2b823fc-1

Installation_guide#Install_essential_packages

Use the pacstrap(8) script to install the base package, Linux kernel and firmware for common hardware:

# pacstrap /mnt base linux linux-firmware

Tip:

  • You can substitute linux for a kernel package of your choice, or you could omit it entirely when installing in a container.

  • You could omit the installation of the firmware package when installing in a virtual machine or container.

I feel so dumb right now, I only did base, Linux and Linux-headers
