Problem with network

Hey guys!

I have a problem wwith one of my machines - each 4 or 5 time I start the machine - the etho netcard gets a strange MAC-address with the correct address and a lot of zeroes behind so instead of 12 digits it gets 24 where the last 12 are zeroes - how can that be and what can I do with it
Thanks
P

Re: Problem with network

Thats a onboard NIC on a Gigabyte nForce4SLI .

Normally I don't have any special moduls loaded for the Nic, that a normal install always have found the correct one.

It have just begun with this after a reinstall the other day!

Re: Problem with network

It seems like if the card is assigned an IPV 6 address.
