Re: X-friend

Sorry I have posted in wrong place!

I have been looking for a management tool of my files for long time.
I ran into "file search tools" for linux.  One of them is "x-friend"
The following is an introduction of the program.  There seems versions of RPM for suse, redhat.  Please refer to following site.

Thank you for your attention.

Re: X-friend

I expect someone will package this (someone nearly always does), but as you are still looking, have you considered the most well known "file search tool" for linux i.e. beagle? It's already packaged, so get it with pacman, and you're all set.

No doubt, xfriend is a good tool, but from a brief glance at those URLs, it is apparent that it is also closed source, and that the free version has limited functionality compared to the version they would like you to fork out euros for.
