Lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon 7th - bass problem

Hi everyone, I need a hand, for this laptop is neccesary to mute the speaker to get the full sound experience, but this configuration is not saved so in every reboot I have to manually set in alsamixer the muting thing. I tried with "alsactl store" but the muting thing is not saved no matter what. it seems that pulseaudio does not care about alsamixer setting.

Is there a way to do it permanently?

Welcome to the boards,

Mute in pulseaudio, that way pulseaudio will remember and reapply the setting. Unless this is a control you can't directly access from pulse.

amixer -c0 #or -c1 whatever the correct index of the correct card is...
pacmd list-cards
pacmd list-sinks

in  [ code ] [ /code ] tags without the spaces so we can have an overview of what you're talking about, and maybe specify the control you are adjusting from alsamixer (it should show up in textual form from the amixer output)
