Konsole cosmetic issue?

I have a strange issue issue with the Konsole program from Plasma DE.

I've already cleaned all konsole configuration files and profiles and started from scratch.

On konsole version 20.4.03 it doesn't happen, but on version 20.08.0, the latest happens.

So the issue is just when the prompt of the shell is at the top no issue.

So just press ENTER until the prompt hits bottom, and then a color sidebar at the left right just before the prompt appears. and then it follows the prompt and any output.
If a new command is given the previous side bar goes away and a new appears, so it seems it shows some output change? but if so why only at when the prompt is at the bottom of the screen?

Any ideas?

I can confirm this. I recommend to ask that question in a KDE forum. Arch's PKGBUILD does not add special configure flags to he build, so it should not be Arch's mistake.

This is a feature that came with the new apps release which highlights newly added lines. You can turn it off in Edit Profile -> Scrolling -> Highlighting.

Yes, it was it.

That option was not appearing, and I had to clear all konsole configuration files, profiles and cache, and bingo. It appears now and I can disable it. Solved.
