i've decided to switch for i3 to bspwm but all i see is black screen now. tested few different wm and all worked fine except for bspwm ofc. bspwm-git does same thing
$ bspwm -v
0.9.10
$ X -version
X.Org X Server 1.20.8
cat ~/.xinitrc
if [ -d /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d ] ; then
for f in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/?*.sh ; do
[ -x "$f" ] && . "$f"
done
unset f
fi
sxhkd &
exec bspwm -c .config/bspwm/bspwmrci looked threw journalctl and didnt find any errors or warnings, xstart also shows nothing. maybe bspwm has some new bug? i would try to see if bspwm works on new arch install but im too lazy for dat /:
edit: it took me few days to figure out out that this is how bspwm supposed to work. god i feel stupid. thanks manyroads for you pointing out that im follow along ur tutorial now. cool site btw (L:

Sounds normal... you can read a bunch of my old bspwm tutorials for help (assuming the material here does not suit your fancy).
