Is there any solution for extreme slow grub menu?

Since I changed my computer to a  AMD Ryzen 5 2500U APU, the grub menu is extremely slow.

Clearly, there is the simple solution of reduce the Grub resolution. However, it is still slow. For example, editing any entrance is a pain in the ass.

Is there any other solution?

Thanks.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Use a different bootloader?

Mod note: not an installation issue, moving to NC.

Although I don't have much space in my /boot (16MB), GRUB loads correctly (less than 1 second). The problem is the menu itself, it is slow. Going down in the menu takes 1 or 2 seconds...

ReFind has some bug with AMD and take one minute to load.
